Thank you for understanding us
THIS IS A LETTER FROM ONE OF OUR READERS

Dear T.,
I do not know why am I writing this. But something tells me that I need to. So, I decided to take that little amount of certainty (which is hard to come by these days) and started writing this letter.
I want to tell you that January wasn’t kind. I wanted it to be. But it wasn’t. I think I forgot to tell it to be so. Hence, it passed me by like the wind and before I could even try to understand what exactly caused the chaos, arrived February.
I want to tell you that there came a point where I couldn’t figure out whether everything was happening for real or whether I was dreaming. To tell you the truth, I still am unsure about it. And perhaps, everyone is.
(Have you thought about this, T.? Living in a dream? Isn’t it both comforting and frightening?)
I want to tell you that when nothing could comfort me, poetry did. Your blog did, your words did. Your blog understood me, your blog helped me, your blog comforted me.
So, T., thank you very, very much. Thank you for understanding us, thank you for helping us, thank you for comforting us. And most importantly, thank you for being such a wonderful friend.
Wherever you are, I hope you are happy.
Love,
M.
