MARGINALIA

1.
I don’t know whether I’m sinking or singing. The weight pulls me under. The voice lifts me up. I keep going, not sure which is prayer and which is grief.

2.
I don’t want to be crystallised into silence. I am angry, I am enraged. How many more children have to die?

3.
I carry my grief with me like salt in the mouth.
